Kao Lee Thao went to college to become a psychiatrist until she tapped into her subconscious mind and realized that Art is her passion. Through the weapon of coffee her superhero powers are heightened, allowing her to create unique yet stylistic surreal and dream-like landscapes.
She is a multi-award winning 3D artist, but she feels her greatest accomplishment is creating animations that awaken a fond memory, inspire an idea, or enlighten viewers.
Although 3D consumes most of her time she finds hidden moments to paint and design. One item that resonates in her work is the swirl. The swirl is a symbol of proportional perfection of having no beginning or end is could easily travel on forever. A swirl has an underlying energy that dissipates from the central origin and reaches out to the viewer.
